Bodas Nov 09

NOV 2 – NOV 6 Mateo decides to tell Marisol what Esperanza is asking of him and Marisol wants to tell Mateo that she is pregnant. Marisol reveals her pregnancy, but Mateo realizes that he shouldn’t disclose the hit that is going to take place. Ana María agrees with her father and thinks that Luz should be taken off life-support, but Marco disagrees and sides with Santiago instead. Augusto tells Luz’s two families that this matter might have to be solved in a court. Jordi and Marta Elena arrive back in Veracruz and are informed about everything that has transpired and they head right to the hospital. Seeing, Marta Elena at the hospital, Augusto calls Karina and asks her to stop by, hoping to make his ex jealous. Isabel vows to fight harder than ever to protect herself and her family and Enrique promises to fight just as hard. The judge decides to call on Juan to testify in the divorce proceedings. Laticia informs the Padre that she will escape the manicomio tomorrow and the Padre lets Bernardo know that they will soon have help.

NOV 9 – NOV 13 Mateo asks Esperanza when the assassination must take place and she tells him to do it before the new year. Esperanza reminds her brother that everything must remain a secret and she goes to support Enrique in court. Lawyers on both sides grill Juan, trying to make both Enrique and Isabel look bad. Reliving all his abuse and hardships causes Juan to have an emotional break down and he is temporarily sent to the manicomio. With staff preoccupied with the new arrival, Laticia takes the opportunity to escape and she meets the Padre ahead of schedule. Gregorio realizes that Inés is addicted to los Pop, but she does not acknowledge her addiction. Not sure who to turn to, Gregorio explains Inés’ addiction to Paloma, but she doesn’t want to get involved. Karina is convinced that she can make Augusto truly love her and continues to be manipulated by him. Luis Miguel is released from the hospital and vows that the cartel must be stopped.

NOV 16 – NOV 20 Marisol fears how her friends will react, but Ana María and Leisle are both thrilled that their dear friend is pregnant. Marisol regrets passing off Ana María’s son as her own, but she realizes that she cannot undo the past now. Gregorio refuses to help Enrique with the trial, but Enrique promises that Inés will suffer even more if he doesn’t help. Madre Tierra tells Isabel to do what she feels is right and Isabel tells her family that she will continue to fight. Luis Miguel contacts Bernardo and they discuss the best ways to deal with the los Pop cartel. In the meantime, the Padre tells Laticia to put aside issues from the past and work with her enemy, Paloma. Upset that he isn’t getting the right results, Augusto considers putting more pressure on Marta Elena.

NOV 23 – NOV 27 Ana María abandons any hope of getting back together with Mateo now that Marisol is pregnant. Marisol and Mateo spend some quality time together, but they both keep secrets from the other. Enrique reveals to Gregorio that the experimental drug used on Juan was actually another form of los Pop. Gregorio cautions Enrique that more of that drug could cause irreversible damage for Juan. Isabel’s lawyer is gunned down and killed by the cartel. Karina and Luis Miguel discuss the possibility of one of the Dulce corporate lawyers helping Isabel and they decide on using Fernando Gómez. The Padre receives yet another mysterious phone call and he tells the person on the other line that “there are more pressing matters to deal with now”. Marta Elena tells Jordi that she feels that someone is stalking her. Jordi tells Augusto to stay away from his family.

OCT 5 – OCT 9 New episodes of Bodas de Sangre will not appear this week. Classic episodes will appear during the normal time. The theme this week will be daring escapes from the past.

OCT 12 – OCT 16 Behind Enrique’s back, Esperanza formulates a way that Mateo can prove his worth to both her and the los Pop cartel. Hoping that he channels his assassination style of the past, Esperanza asks him to take out a potential liability. Marisol worries that the Luz revelation may soon cause Ana María to pursue a future with Mateo. Ana María struggles with the fact that she was lied to for her entire life and that she could have been happy if it hadn’t been for her mother’s lie. The Padre gives Laticia the tools that she will need to escape and he tells her where to find him when she gets out. An ambulance rushes Luis Miguel and Karina to the hospital. Augusto and other doctors work to extract two bullets from Luis Miguel and they make an unnerving discovery. Karina is also treated by Augusto and she believes that he saved her life although her wound wasn’t life-threatening. Lena reveals that Alfonso is still alive and has been in hiding in Germany since the winter but the others ask for proof. Lena cannot produce concrete evidence, but Angela believes her friend is telling the truth.

OCT 19 – OCT 23 Esperanza tells her brother what must be done to prove his loyalty and Mateo realizes that he must assassinate the mayor of Veracruz – Olaf. Mateo feels deeply conflicted between doing what is right and proving himself to his sister. Marisol realizes that the truth about Jorge being Ana María’s stillborn baby will soon come out and she tries to devise a deeper lie. Ana María decides to build a relationship with her half-brother since they are both coping with the deception of their mother. Rodrigo begins to consider if Luz should be taken off life support, but Santiago says that she came out of a coma before and she will pull through again. Augusto tells Luis Miguel and his family that he will recover from the gunshot wounds, but his appendix must also be removed at once. The Dulce’s consent to the procedure and they pray that Luis Miguel will get better. Enrique demands that the divorce proceedings continue.

OCT 26 – OCT 30 Mateo questions Esperanza as to why Olaf must be killed and she tells him, “it is the best way to preserve the cartel”. Esperanza also lets Mateo know that this must be kept secret from Enrique until the assassination is complete. Marisol puts her machinations on hold as she discovers that she is pregnant. Teresa is shocked when Ana María is coping well with the Luz revelation and she is even more surprised that Ana María is strengthening her bonds with Marco and Jaime. Rodrigo and Santiago butt heads regarding Luz and Augusto discusses their options with them. Luis Miguel’s appendix is removed and she recovers at the hospital. The Dulce’s realize that Luis Miguel being shot may have actually saved his life. Jordi and Marta Elena bid farewell to Jordi’s family and they head back to Veracruz; however, they are unaware that someone is following them. The people of Veracruz celebrate el Día de los Muertos without incident this year.

Bodas Aug 09 – Sep 09

AUG 3 – AUG 7 Santiago bursts into Esperanza/Luz’s room and embraces the woman, claiming that she is his wife. Marco soon arrives at the hospital and Augusto informs him that Esperanza/Luz is asking for him. The nurse tells everyone in the hospital room to leave except for family, but both Rodrigo and Ana María and the pair of Santiago and Marco stay. The nurse asks Esperanza/Luz who she wants to stay and she asks for Santiago and Marco. Enrique tells Olaf that Santiago is now a liability for the los Pop cartel in light of recent events. Karina tells Luis Miguel that Isabel wants to explore a relationship with Olaf again and he is dumbfounded at the prospect. Luis Miguel decides to ask Adoración for help in keeping Isabel away from Olaf. Ana María explains to Jaime and Teresa that her mother thinks that Marco is child. Teresa is thrilled that Ana María’s world has been turned upside-down. With Lena’s consent, Jordi performs an evaluation on her and discovers that she may be eccentric, but not crazy.

AUG 10 – AUG 14 After spending time with Santiago and Marco, it becomes clear that Esperanza/Luz is suffering from amnesia and cannot remember the last twenty years of her life. Augusto gets permission to perform a series of DNA tests to figure out who Esperanza/Luz really is. As his blood is being taken, Mateo lets Augusto know that he and Marisol are almost certain what the results will reveal. Enrique tells Olaf to fire Santiago, but Olaf defies the cartel leader and decides that Santiago still could prove useful for them. Gregorio feels pulled in deeper to the los Pop cartel. Karina offers Isabel advice to wait until the divorce is finalized before pursuing anything with Olaf. Isabel visits a lawyer and has divorce papers drawn up while Enrique does the same. Lena invites Jordi, Marta Elena, and Angela over for dinner and both Jordi and Marta Elena are stunned that her mansion resembles the governor’s mansion in Veracruz.

AUG 17 – AUG 21 Augusto calls Mateo and Marisol to inform them of the results first and Luz is subsequently put under arrest for impersonating Esperanza. Santiago and Rodrigo both protest that she is in a fragile mental state and is not even aware of her past actions. Marco and Ana María also find out that they are half-siblings. Mateo also realizes that Ana María is not his niece, thus their child together was not born out of incest. Santiago considers resigning from his post, but Bernardo convinces him that his position within the cartel is invaluable to their cause. Inés and Gregorio realize that their involvement with the cartel is putting a strain on their relationship with Paloma. Angela can’t get over the feeling that Lena is hiding something so she sneaks into her mansion.

AUG 24 – AUG 28 Rodrigo confronts Mateo, asking him if he knew that Luz was disguised as Esperanza, but he honestly says “no”. Rodrigo also asks Mateo what this means for his relationship with Ana María, but Mateo affirms that he is fully committed to his relationship with Marisol. Ana María decides not to reveal the truth about her daughter to Jaime. Teresa formulates a plan to finally divide Ana María and Jaime by using the Esperanza/Luz revelation. Santiago and Marco visit Luz at the hospital again and her last memory is being kidnapped by the los Pop cartel. Esperanza sheds more light on the Luz mystery by explaining that they were prisoners at the same time and she believes that Luz escaped and assumed her identity. Enrique threatens Gregorio that “getting into the los Pop cartel is much easier that getting out”. As Angela snoops around, Lena spies on her and knocks her out as Angela is trying to make a phone call to Jordi.

AUG 31 – SEP 4 Santiago reveals to Luz that she had assumed Esperanza’s identity and lived as her for twenty years. Santiago also brings Rodrigo and Ana María in, but she tells them that she doesn’t have any recollection of them at all. Marco escorts Ana María out of the room when she begins to verbally attack their mother. Marco asks Teresa why Ana María would have had such an outburst and she tells him that something happened with Mateo in the past. Marisol is worried about losing Mateo, but he tells her that he is totally devoted and they express their love afterwards. Esperanza and Isabel get into a heated confrontation that is broken up by Enrique and Juan. Juan tries to love both his parents, but tells Clara that he feels betrayed by his father. Jordi and Marta Elena arrive at Lena’s mansion, trying to find Angela until they are both locked in a dark room by Lena. The Padre receives a long-distance call about a sleeper cell of the los Pop cartel.

SEP 7 – SEP 11 Mateo tries to reconnect with his real sister, but Esperanza still bears some ill-will towards him. Ana María tells Rodrigo that Luz ruined her life and her child’s life too. Augusto tells Mateo that Luz will soon be released from the hospital Mateo says that she will be put into police captivity – exactly what many were hoping would happen. Gregorio realizes what he did by temporarily legalizing los Pop as more violent crimes are committed across the city and more addicts flood hospitals. Still craving los Pop, Laticia formulates a way to escape the manicomio in order to feed her addiction. Adoración tries to persuade Isabel that Olaf is part of the los Pop cartel just like Enrique, but she ignores the warning. The Padre tells the person on the other line to “eliminate the enemies”. In Germany, Lena pulls out a gun, intent on killing the unwanted intruders. As Lena is about to shoot Jordi, Angela comes to the rescue.

SEP 14 – SEP 18 Mateo tells Esperanza that he wants to be a part of Esperanza’s life and make up for his unsavory past. Augusto informs Santiago that Luz will soon be released from the hospital and subsequently put under arrest. Santiago and Rodrigo explain what will happen to Luz, but she can’t realize why she is being arrested for something that she doesn’t even remember. Laticia decides that she needs help to escape the manicomio and considers asking the Padre to break her out. The divorce proceedings begin with Enrique and the los Pop cartel squaring off against Isabel and the Dulce family. Adoración asks Huecita to help her break through to Isabel, but Huecita says that it will only be a waste of time. Angela, Jordi, and Marta Elena tie Lena up and demand to know what is going on. Lena explains that she has received orders to protect someone from the los Pop cartel.

SEP 21 – SEP 25 Esperanza agrees that Mateo should be in her life, but she asks him to prove his loyalty. Mateo fears that proving his loyalty to Esperanza means also proving his loyalty to the los Pop cartel. Just as Luz is about to be released from the hospital and arrested, she collapses and falls back into a coma. Marisol and Mateo are both glad that they don’t have arrest Luz, but worry that she will never regain consciousness. The Padre visits Laticia and the manicomio and agrees to help her escape if she helps him with the los Pop cartel problem. Luis Miguel and Karina are shot at as they enter the courthouse to support Isabel. Enrique gives Isabel a final chance to comply with his wishes and give him full custody of Juan. Jordi and Marta Elena are shocked to know that the cartel reaches over to Germany and Lena tells them that she thought they were part of the drug cartel. Lena explains that one of the Cambio’s is still alive and in their presence.

SEP 28 – OCT 2 New episodes of Bodas de Sangre will not appear this week. Classic episodes will appear during the normal time. The theme this week will be Luz’s most intense moments disguised as Esperanza.

JUN 29 – JUL 3 With his second wife now in Veracruz, Enrique decides that he will grant Isabel her wish for a divorce. Esperanza explains that Mateo sold her to the los Pop cartel many years ago and she fell in love with Enrique and has remained with him every since. Veracruz is divided trying to figure out who is the real Esperanza while one of them still lies in a coma. Rodrigo asks Marisol for help in investigating this case of identity fraud. Marisol asks Mateo which woman is the real Esperanza and he says that it has been too many years to know for sure. Bernardo suggests to Inés that she find an important member on the inside to be her confidant. Olaf takes Santiago’s advice without consulting with Enrique and the ban on los Pop is reinstated. Jordi and Marta Elena ask why they are being quarantined, and customs agents say that they got a tip from a Mexican doctor. Jordi immediately thinks that Augusto is trying to ruin their honeymoon.

JUL 6 – JUL 10 Esperanza tries to find out who the imposter in the hospital really is and she thinks back to her past. Rodrigo and Ana María wonder if Esperanza is right about someone faking her identity for all these years. Santiago tries to get Enrique to use his resources to locate Santiago’s wife, but Enrique says that it is a foregone mission. Inés discovers that Santiago is discontent with the cartel and she suggests that he contact the Padre. Augusto tells Gregorio that he is responsible the drug addiction of large parts of the population. Paloma accuses her father of being part of the cartel, but he tells her that he is merely aiding the people in power. Paloma thinks back to Benita’s dying words about Enrique and the cartel. The Esperanza in a coma exhibits signs of brain activity and Augusto secretly calls her family. After a delay of several days, Jordi and Marta Elena are cleared to enter Germany for their honeymoon. Jordi contacts his father’s family.

JUL 13 – JUL 17 Still angry with Mateo, Esperanza confronts him and demands answers for why he sold her to the cartel long ago. Mateo tries to justify his actions of the past, but he realizes that he may be defending himself to an imposter. Rather than take out his anger on Enrique, Santiago decides to meet with the Padre and see what he has in mind. Inés is not privy to any sensitive information, but she does overhear Enrique say that his los Pop plan is working perfectly. Rodrigo and Ana María discover that their Esperanza may be coming out of a coma and they ask Augusto to keep this quite. Gregorio catches wind of this and decides to inform Enrique and the los Pop cartel. Paloma discovers that both her mother and father are somehow involved with the los Pop cartel. Isabel decides to ask for full custody of Juan despite Luis Miguel and Madre Tierra’s warnings against it. Jaime supports Ana María as she struggles with trying to find out who her mother is.

JUL 20 – JUL 24 The Padre introduces Santiago to Bernardo, but Santiago is resistant to betraying Enrique. Bernardo tries to make a deal with Santiago when the Padre gets a phone call from Inés saying that Enrique, Esperanza, and Olaf are headed to the hospital. Santiago wonders why he wasn’t contacted and he decides to show up unexpectedly. Augusto tries to stop the unwanted intruders, but Gregorio grants them access to the hospital anyway. Jordi and Marta Elena both meet Olaf’s family in Denmark and Germany. Jordi discovers that his cousin, Angela is about his age and they hit it off right away. Ana María sends several postcards home to let her family know that their honeymoon is going perfectly. Isabel regrets not having married Olaf when she had the chance. Teresa tells Jaime that Marco and Ana María have many similar qualities.

JUL 27 – JUL 31 Esperanza comes out of her coma and discovers that her room is filled with many people trying to find out the truth. When Rodrigo and Ana María go to hug and kiss Esperanza, she acts as if she doesn’t know them. Olaf and the new Esperanza demand to know who she is and the woman in the coma claims to be “Luz Nogales”. Santiago arrives at the hospital with Bernardo and the Padre close behind. When they arrive, Augusto tells them that Esperanza seems to have amnesia and thinks that she is someone named Luz Nogales. Santiago calls Marco and he rushes to the hospital with Teresa and Jaime. Adoración tells Isabel that trying to reconnect with Olaf could be disastrous. Isabel thinks that Adoración secretly wants Olaf back for her own and she tells this theory to Karina. Angela introduces Jordi to her friend, Lena, and she pulls him aside later asking him to give Lena a psychological evaluation.

Bodas June 09

JUN 1 – JUN 5 Enrique contacts Gregorio, telling him that his sentence has been commuted but he must support los Pop as a treatment for swine flu. More lives are lost to swine flu in Veracruz and more cases flair up around the world. Enrique makes another mysterious phone call to Columbia, but this time Isabel hears everything. Isabel confides in Paloma and Isabel’s greatest fears are confirmed. Santiago explains to Olaf that he doesn’t completely trust Enrique since Santiago’s wife got caught in the crossfire of the los Pop cartel wars. Marco explains to his new friends that he never knew his mother because she died at the hands of a drug cartel. Adoración receives a clean bill of health and she is released from the hospital. Hours later, Jordi and Marta Elena make the final preparations for their wedding. The Dulce family and friends gather for another wedding.

JUN 8 – JUN 12 With Gregorio’s medical opinion, Olaf legalizes los Pop and the cartel operates a monopoly of the drug. Pedro and Bernardo’s prayers are answered as Leisle makes a recovery. Jordi and Marta Elena wed despite concerns over the possibility of Augusto objecting to their union. Karina and Augusto offer congratulations to the couple, though Augusto still harbors jealousy. During the reception Isabel and Enrique have a heated argument about his past and he finally confesses that he was involved with a woman when he was in hiding. Juan overhears the entire heated conversation and fears that his family will be ripped apart soon. Paloma tells Luis Miguel that Isabel’s relationship with Enrique is over, but Luis Miguel says that he hasn’t seen any signs of trouble. Santiago blames himself for his wife’s untimely death because he kept his cartel involvement a secret from her. A mysterious woman boards a plane for Veracruz.

JUN 15 – JUN 19 Mateo works to get the ban reinstated citing the highly addictive nature of los Pop; however, concern over the swine flu still dominates. Jordi and Marta Elena board a plane for Frankfurt to begin their Northern Europe honeymoon. Augusto gets an idea about how he ruin their honeymoon by playing on the world’s concern over the swine flu. Leisle still feels crippled, but Bernardo promises to get to the bottom of the swine flu controversy by following Luis Miguel’s lead. Isabel tells Enrique that she knew that their relationship would never work out and she asks for a divorce. Juan tells Clara the truth about Enrique having a mistress in Columbia and she worries that Paloma may be in danger as well. The mysterious woman gets off the plane and Enrique has a driver pick her up at the airport. Enrique introduces the woman as Esperanza Gente and everyone is in shock as they believe Esperanza to still be in a coma.

JUN 22 – JUN 26 As the swine flu goes dormant, Santiago tells Olaf that the ban should be reinstated. Enrique feigns resistance, but he realizes that most of the people that took los Pop are now addicted. Bernardo considers asking Pedro to infiltrate the cartel another time, but Pedro refuses saying that he must focus on his family now. The Padre suggests that Inés use her connects with the cartel to figure out its quick return to political and financial power. At first Inés is resistant to the Padre’s idea, but he assures her that it will be a way to prove her family loyalty to Paloma. Isabel tells her family that she will be divorcing Enrique and her entire family seems to be relieved. Upon revisiting Esperanza in the hospital, Rodrigo realizes that the new arrival cannot possibly be who she claims to be. Rodrigo and Ana María confront Enrique and Esperanza, trying to figure out who this new woman really is. Jordi and Marta Elena are quarantined at the Frankfurt airport.

Bodas May 09

MAY 4 –MAY 8 Leisle meets with her father to discuss her findings, but she storms out when the Padre appears in the room. Leisle comes down with flu-like symptoms and Bernardo immediately thinks that the los Pop cartel poisoned his daughter. Adoración also becomes sick and Rodrigo thinks back to when Olaf tried to sabotage Agua Aztlán. Olaf and Jordi worry over Adoración, but she doesn’t want Olaf’s sympathy. Marta Elena invites Ana María to help her make final preparations for the wedding. During the final stages of the wedding planning, Huecita and Ana María discuss the possibility that Teresa may want to carry out Federico’s plan. The Padre places a secret phone call, telling the other person that “it isn’t safe to come back yet”. Santiago tells Enrique that he holds him responsible for Santiago’s wife leaving him. Enrique thinks that Juan is still too young to become involved with the cartel, but he hopes that his son will be a boss someday.

MAY 11 – MAY 15 La Diana takes care of Leisle, but she also becomes sick. Bernardo and his family are quarantined and more cases of swine flu pop up throughout the country. Adoración becomes extremely ill and at the hospital, Augusto tells Jordi that it doesn’t look like she will make it. Jordi contacts Marta Elena and they decide to postpone the wedding until after Adoración recovers. Augusto is secretly pleased with Adoración’s deteriorating condition, but Karina encourages Jordi that his mother will recover. Rodrigo and Luis Miguel discuss the possibility that the los Pop cartel deliberately infected the citizens of Veracruz. The Padre places a secret phone call, telling the other person that “it isn’t safe to come back yet”. Paloma decides to keep a closer eye on her daughter, fearing what the cartel is capable of doing. Under the advice of Santiago, Olaf closes the entire Port of Veracruz, effectively keeping the illness out and keeping invalids in the city.

MAY 18 – MAY 22 Luis Miguel communicates to Bernardo that they think the los Pop cartel is behind the global pandemic. Leisle’s condition deteriorates and Pedro thinks that his worst fears may come true. Rodrigo confronts Olaf, but Olaf fervently denies that the cartel had anything to do with the swine flu. Augusto suggests that Madre Tierra visit Adoración in the hospital and Marta Elena talks to her grandmother. Jordi can’t help feel that Augusto is taking pleasure in his suffering. Gregorio asks Enrique about getting a reduced sentence and Enrique promises that Gregorio’s release is in the works. Teresa and Marco continue to cultivate their relationship, though Ana María warns Marco that Teresa may suffer from the same psychotic condition as Federico. When Inés stops by to visit, Paloma tells her mother that some time apart might be best for her children. In the manicomio, Laticia gets the flu, but she takes some smuggled los Pop to ease the pain.

MAY 25 – MAY 29 After Laticia’s rapid recovery, Enrique realizes that this is an opportunity to capitalize on the potential of los Pop. Enrique encourages Olaf to temporarily lift the ban on los Pop to use as a treatment for swine flu, but they need medical backing. Not a religious person, Bernardo asks that Madre Tierra pray for Leisle in the hospital. Augusto learns that some of his patients are using los Pop to relieve symptoms of the flu, but he also sees the addictive nature of the drug. Adoración appears to have recovered, but she is kept in the hospital to prevent the spread of the swine flu. Jordi and Marta Elena decide to have their wedding as soon as Adoración is released. Marco tells Teresa of his family life and that his mother disappeared many years ago. The strained relationship between Inés and Paloma resurfaces as Inés brings up Paloma’s past.

APR 6 – APR 10 Due to the Semana Santa celebrations, new episodes of Bodas de Sangre will not air this week. Classic episodes will air during the morning. The theme this week will be classic vendettas in Veracruz.

APR 13 – APR 17 Pedro and Leisle continue couples therapy and Pedro seems to be coming back to his old disposition before the attack. Bernardo tells Leisle to investigate drug trafficking in the Veracruz harbor. Putting politics aside, Olaf pleas with Adoración to be a part of his son’s wedding. Enrique tells Santiago that he has to put his past feelings aside in order to help strengthen the cartel. Paloma warns Clara not to get involved with the los Pop cartel citing her own sordid past. Juan finally decides to confront his father about the cartel, but Enrique maintains that he was a prisoner for years. Aware of Enrique’s role in the los Pop cartel, Gregorio decides to exploit the situation by promising to help his son cope with the demons of his past.

APR 20 – APR 24 Early in her investigation, it becomes apparent that the los Pop cartel has returned to Veracruz, but Leisle wonders from where. Pedro confides in Huecita that to live without Leisle would be utterly impossible. Although Jordi and Adoración still have a personal vendetta against Olaf, Marta Elena convinces them that Olaf should see his son get married. Jordi grudgingly agrees and decides that he will visit his father’s side of the family during their honeymoon. Teresa and Marco finally agree to meet, though neither has any idea about what’s in store for the future. Huecita tells Ana María to be extremely cautious around Teresa. Concerned that his son is becoming too suspicious, Enrique contacts Paloma and asks her if Juan has been asking her questions as well.

APR 27 – MAY 1 Leisle continues to spy on the los Pop cartel like Pedro did at one point, but she doesn’t tell anyone what is going on. Although adversarial in the past, Bernardo and the Padre work together again, intent on fully exposing the nefarious drug cartel. Jordi refuses to extent a personal invitation to his father, but Marta Elena goes to Olaf instead. Still angry at her ex-husband, Adoración decides that her revenge will have to wait until the los Pop cartel isn’t protecting Olaf. Teresa fills Marco in on all the interpersonal relationships in Veracruz before Ana María and Jaime give him their own accounts. Juan asks Isabel about Enrique’s past, both unaware that Enrique is the current boss of the entire cartel. Isabel, curious herself, prays with her mother for clarity regarding Enrique’s mysterious past. Augusto notes alterations in Esperanza’s condition.

Bodas March 09

MAR 2 – MAR 6 Jordi proposes to Marta Elena and she says “yes”. Augusto rethinks his plans of revenge and he considers using Karina to make Marta Elena jealous. Clara discusses her ideas with Juan and they decide to team up and find out the truth behind the los Pop cartel. Pedro and Leisle reconnect in southern Mexico while la Diana watches the children. Bernardo assures Sor Rosa that the Padre is committed to removing the threat of the los Pop cartel, but she still doesn’t trust the Padre. Enrique and Olaf compromise on an economic advisor, Santiago Nogales, an old associate of Enrique. Luis Miguel presses Adoración and she finally admits that the los Pop cartel is indeed back in Veracruz. Luis Miguel, Paloma, and Rodrigo discuss this revelation and they automatically think that both Enrique and Olaf are somehow involved. Inés visits Gregorio in prison and she learns that his sentence may soon be reduced, though they don’t get their hopes up.

MAR 9 – MAR 13 Marta Elena and Jordi plan on a May wedding in Veracruz. Augusto is shocked to hear the news and he thinks that the wedding will be rushed. Unaware of Karina’s true feelings, Augusto tries to show his former fiancé that he has moved on. Clara meets with Inés in order to talk about her mother’s childhood and to find out more about the drug cartel. Juan, in the meantime, plans on speaking with Mateo since he was at one point, part of the los Pop cartel. After weeks of erratic behavior, Marisol calms down by reassuring herself that nobody knows the truth about her terrible crime. Rodrigo finds out that Ana María is dating Jaime again and he asks his daughter to reconsider, asserting that psychotic behavior is genetic. Teresa keeps in contact with her friend online and she convinces herself that Federico was not the serial killer. Enrique makes the arrangements for Santiago to move to Veracruz with his only child. In prison, Gregorio ponders how he could us the regime change to his advantage. Pedro and Leisle return.

MAR 16 – MAR 20 Aware that she is being used, Karina doesn’t have to fake feelings for Augusto. Marta Elena is shocked that her aunt has begun a relationship with Augusto, but she thinks that it may be good for everyone. Luis Miguel learns of Karina’s relationship with Augusto and he tells her that her actions will hurt Marta Elena. At first reticent, Inés tells her granddaughter some details of her mother’s childhood. Paloma yells at her mother for bringing up an extremely touchy subject. Mateo is afraid to talk to Juan, thinking that Enrique may be manipulating his son, but he eventually does explain about the los Pop cartel. Ana María considers her father’s advice, but she comes to the conclusion that Teresa has inherited some sort of psychosis. Enrique and Olaf go to the airport in order to meet Santiago and his son, Marco. Pedro and Leisle seem to have reconnected and they both spend time with their children before returning to work.

MAR 23 – MAR 27 Karina tells Luis Miguel to stay out of her and Marta Elena’s lives. Luis Miguel tells his sister that he cares about her and Marta Elena to much to not look out for their best interests. Rodrigo pressures Adoración to tell him what happened to her, but sensing that she is extremely uncomfortable, he stops the line of questioning. Enrique suggests that Olaf contact Adoración so that he can correct wrongs of the past. Taking a break from helping her daughter plan her wedding, Huecita asks Pedro how he is doing. Pedro tells Huecita that he is doing much better and that he realizes that he cannot live without Leisle. Juan and Clara compare notes and they conclude that Enrique and Paloma were at once part of the los Pop cartel. They wonder if their parents are still involved.

MAR 30 – APR 3 Jordi and Marta Elena discuss where they will travel for their honeymoon and they ultimately decide on northern Europe. Olaf also decides to extend an olive branch to his son, but Jordi refuses to even speak with his estranged father. Adoración decides to meet with Olaf, fearing what Enrique might do if she didn’t agree. Like the Padre with Bernardo, it becomes evident that Enrique actually yields the power of mayor. Enrique briefs Santiago about the state of affairs in Veracruz and there appears to be tension between the two men. Ana María tells Huecita her theory regarding Teresa and Huecita realizes that her niece may have a point. Teresa and Marco contact each other online again and they learn that they are both in Veracruz. Clara confronts Paloma and she finally comes clean about her involvement with the cartel and her bad decisions from the past. Bernardo decides to secretly expose the los Pop cartel of Veracruz.

Bodas Feb 09

FEB 2 – FEB 6 The test results come back and the doctor lets the family know that Jordi is Carlos’ biological father. Marta Elena and Jordi both celebrate, but Augusto is surprisingly unresponsive. Mateo convinces Marisol to come back to work and she agrees so as to get her mind of her guilty conscience. Ana María decides not to tell Jaime about her suspicions of Teresa. Teresa contacts someone that she met on brief archeological dig and begins an online relationship. Huecita consents to meeting with Pedro and they discuss their experiences as unwilling captives. Leisle gets in touch with Marisol, hoping for a breaking story. Unable to participate in politics, Bernardo decides to spread his message with his tabloid and newspaper. Fearing that Adoración could hinder his chances of being elected, Olaf asks Enrique for advice regarding her. Enrique settles on kidnapping her until after the election. Rodrigo visits Esperanza in the hospital.

 

FEB 9 – FEB 13 Augusto considers suicide, but he decides that murder will give him more satisfaction. Marisol and Mateo are both concerned when there is evidence of government corruption from the los Pop cartel. Leisle learns about the voting fraud, but she fears that her story will not draw enough attention to the corruption in Veracruz. Pedro tries to explain to his children that what Leisle did was to protect the family, but the children don’t understand. Ana María forgives Jaime for not believing her, but she thinks that Teresa may still be influencing her brother. Mateo confronts Enrique about election fraud and the los Pop cartel, but Enrique laughs and says that Mateo may want to think about rejoining the cartel. Adoración tries to escape from Enrique, but she is recaptured. Jordi wonders where his mother could be and Olaf gets nervous when Jordi confronts him. Citizens of Veracruz gather for the election of a new mayor.

 

FEB 16 – FEB 20 Augusto obtains a gun and decides to kill both Marta Elena and Jordi. Karina stops Augusto before he can go through with his plan and he breaks down in tears. Juan asks Clara if Paloma has mentioned anything about the los Pop cartel, but she tells him that she doesn’t know anything. Clara asks her mother to tell her about the los Pop cartel; however, Paloma remains silent regarding her past. Pedro continues to meet with Huecita and he finds a kindred spirit in her. La Diana takes care of the children while Pedro and Leisle are out. Teresa continues with her online relationship while spying on Ana María and Jaime. Sor Rosa approaches Bernardo about the Padre and his controversial actions in the past. Votes are tallied and Olaf is declared the new mayor, though Mateo suspects voting fraud. Enrique receives the good news and decides to release Adoración with the threat of death if she ever goes against the los Pop cartel.  

 

FEB 23 – FEB 27 Karina continues to comfort Augusto and she feels as though she is succeeding in making Augusto fall in love with her. Clara decides to ask Luis Miguel about the los Pop cartel, but he tells her that it would be better to ask Paloma. Getting nowhere, Clara settles on doing some investigating into the drug cartel. Pedro opens up to Leisle and they decide to have a brief, romantic trip. Bernardo decides to personally meet with the Padre and ask him about his intentions. Sor Rosa expresses disbelief as the Padre and Bernardo come out shaking hands. Enrique makes some suggestions regarding Olaf’s economic advisor, but Olaf has some ideas of his own. The Dulce brothers ask about Adoración’s disappearance, but she claims to have taken ill. Jordi and Luis Miguel don’t believe Adoración’s excuse and Jordi thinks that Olaf may know what happened to her.
