SEP 27 – OCT 1 Esperanza puts the pressure on Teresa to kill Santiago since he is now mayor. Mateo believes that Alejandro is the villain while Ana María argues that Enrique and Esperanza are guilty. Bernardo gives Lena a job and a place to stay, but Laticia tells him that Lena is not going to work and she is staying in the Cambio mansion. Leisle breaks up the fight and tells them that Lena can make up her own mind. Marta Elena’s doctor discusses the need to delivery her baby via c-section. Jordi worries that after the baby is delivered, doctors will ask to take her off life support. Before Karina’s wedding, Paloma agrees to a speedy divorce and signs the paperwork. Luis Miguel and Huecita reconnect when he tells her that Karina is to blame for Marta Elena’s condition. The ceremony begins as Rodrigo walks Karina down the aisle, but she collapses at the altar. Gregorio continues therapy with Juan, slowing programming him to kill Enrique.
OCT 4 – OCT 8 At the celebration for Santiago becoming the new mayor, Teresa poisons Santiago’s soup. Teresa waits out of sight to make sure that Santiago falls dead, but she receives an unexpected call. Lena has a panic attack when she realizes that Pedro has left Veracruz to go search for Marisol. Paloma breaks down in tears, but she realizes that she is protecting Luis Miguel. At the hospital, Huecita and Luis Miguel discuss getting back together, but Huecita realizes he still has unresolved feelings for Paloma. A healthy baby girl is delivered via c-section, but moments later, Jordi overhears Augusto and a colleague talk about Marta Elena and life support. A battery of tests are performed on Karina and she discovers that she is pregnant. Clara and Isabel notice that Juan is getting better and he is spending less time with Enrique. Gregorio tells Inés everything is going according to plan. Pedro discovers Marisol’s location and confronts her.
OCT 11 – OCT 15 Teresa can’t believe what she hears – Jaime on the other end completely refuting Enrique’s story. Teresa stops Santiago from eating his soup, but she realizes her error when Marco collapses and starts convulsing. Laticia and Bernardo argue about how to avenge the crime against Lena, but the Padre reminds them that eliminating Enrique will solve everything. Clara tells Luis Miguel that Paloma still loves him and there must be another reason why she ended their marriage. Rodrigo tells Jordi that he should talk to Luz since she was in a coma for years. The Dulce clan receives the good news that Jordi and Marta Elena welcomed their second child and that Karina and Augusto are pregnant. Enrique informs Mateo that he will be reinstated as a police officer. Raul and Blanca come to Marisol’s aid and concoct a story to save their friend.
OCT 18 – OCT 22 Marco is rushed to the hospital as Santiago and Luz try to figure out what happened to him. Teresa cannot believe that she poisoned Marco by mistake and she confides in Paz her fatal error. Leisle tells Ana María that Pedro has left to find Marisol. Marisol confirms the Medinas’ story that Enrique blackmailed Marisol and forced her ruin Mateo’s life. Jordi befriends Luz and he asks her for advice regarding Marta Elena’s situation. Augusto and Karina have an impromptu wedding at the hospital chapel, though many can’t stop thinking about Marta Elena. The Padre tells Luis Miguel that Enrique must have control over Paloma by blackmailing her. Luis Miguel vows that Enrique will pay for all his crimes against his family. Rodrigo and Huecita both discuss their lost loves. Enrique and Esperanza invite all their enemies to their wedding.
OCT 25 – OCT 29 Santiago and Luz learn that their son was poisoned and they both think that the los Pop cartel had something to do with it. Teresa promises an unconscious Marco that she will avenge him. Luz becomes an advocate for Marta Elena and tells Jordi that she will come out of her coma. Ana María asks Leisle where Pedro went, but Leisle tells her that Pedro didn’t give her any additional information. Pedro calls Mateo and tells him that he found Marisol and that there is more to her story. Karina and Augusto are both overjoyed about their baby, but Karina can’t but help think about her night with Fernando. Lena gets word that Karina no longer wants to adopt her child and she regrets not having an abortion earlier. Huecita wonders if Fernando could be the father of Karina’s baby. Alejandro invites Raul and Blanca to Veracruz. Enrique’s enemies realize that his wedding is perfect for revenge. Sor Rosa has a vision of murder in the cathedral.
NOV 1 – NOV 5 Marisol worries that even though Pedro believed her story, Mateo and Ana María may not. Raul and Blanca tell Alejandro that they will only move to Veracruz if there are opportunities for them. He assures them that there will be unexpected surprises once they arrive. Huecita asks Fernando about his relationship with Karina, but he tells her that it is only a long-time friendship. The Dulce family honors their dead and visits the crypt in the cemetery. Luis Miguel and Isabel reflect on the time that Catalina was locked in the crypt for days, but now she is gone. The Padre tells Bernardo that soon, one of their enemies will end up in the cemetery. Gregorio promises Inés that Enrique will pay for his crimes. Santiago and Luz make a pact that if Marco dies, so too must Paz. Teresa notices Marco move his fingers and Augusto observes that he is regaining consciousness. Paz warns her mother that there are signs of an impending murder.
NOV 8 – NOV 12 Marisol arrives at Veracruz, only to be taken into custody. Mateo demands answers from his wife and she tells him that Enrique and Esperanza forced her to steal Ana María’s child as revenge. Mateo believes Marisol’s story and goes to the wedding with Ana María, ready for revenge. Paloma meets Raul and Blanca and learns that they cannot have children of their own. Paloma and Madre Tierra wonder if they might adopt Lena’s baby. Marco recovers just in time for the wedding that all of Veracruz has been anticipating. Luz worries what Rodrigo’s reaction will be when she arrives with Santiago. At Enrique’s wedding, Luis Miguel and Paloma cross paths, but they don’t say a word to each other. When Esperanza and Enrique are married without a hitch, Sor Rosa wonders if her visions are true. Rodrigo, Isabel, and Luis Miguel all blame Enrique for their unhappiness and decide that the moment has come for revenge.
NOV 15 – NOV 19 Pedro tells Marisol that she cannot be released until some paperwork is finalized. Marisol wonders how Enrique will respond to the elaborate lie that she created with the Medinas. Pedro calls Leisle and she lets him know that the wedding did not feel the way it should. At the reception, Isabel hears from Olaf and he inquires about the day’s events. Diana thinks that there is something familiar about Raul, but she cannot determine what. Huecita warns Augusto to be wary of Fernando and Karina together. A mysterious figure slips some poison into a champagne glass at the head table. All of Veracruz watches as Enrique and Esperanza enjoy champagne after a toast. As the newly-weds are about to cut the cake, the lights go out. Esperanza screams when the lights go back on and Enrique is lying in a pool of his own blood, with a knife in his back.
NOV 22 – NOV 26 Pedro is shocked when Leisle informs him of Enrique’s murder and he rushes to the scene of the crime. Marisol overhears what happened and thinks that Alejandro had something to do with Enrique’s death. Augusto examines Enrique and determines that he is barely alive. Esperanza begs Augusto to do everything he can to save her husband, but many protest, hoping that Enrique will die. Enrique is rushed to the hospital and Augusto performs emergency surgery. Pedro realizes that everyone at the reception is a suspect and tells them to all stay in town. Ana María and Mateo confront Marisol to get some closure and she elaborates on the lie about being blackmailed by the los Pop cartel. Alejandro tells Raul and Blanca that their future is looking bright in Veracruz. Madre Tierra lets Lena know that she may have found an adoptive family. Sor Rosa makes a prediction that someone will finish off Enrique by the end of the year.
NOV 29 – DEC 3 Santiago calls for full investigation. Pedro makes a decision to drop the charges against Marisol and work with her to find out who tried to kill Enrique. Marisol asks Alejandro if he had anything to do with the attempt on Enrique’s life, but he is wary of his detective sister. Mateo tries to get Esperanza to corroborate Marisol’s story, but she only provides vague answers. Augusto lets everyone know that Enrique is alive but barely. The Dulce clan wonders if one of their own might have tried to kill Enrique. Juan visits his father in the hospital after another session with Gregorio. Paloma overhears Juan’s therapy and learns that her father has been brainwashing Juan. Raul and Blanca meet with Lena and they have adoption papers quickly written. Huecita meets with Jordi and they agree that Karina should pay for Marta Elena’s condition. Fernando asks Karina if they might be having a baby together, but she tells him that is impossible.
DEC 6 – DEC 10 Pedro decides that Enrique must have a 24 hour guard in case someone comes back and succeeds at killing Enrique. Mateo must decide what family he has a future with – either Marisol or Ana María. Rodrigo tells Marisol that what she did is unforgivable, but she continues to blame Enrique. Ana María befriends Paz and they exchange stories about their pasts. Santiago and Luz continue to rebuild their relationship but Rodrigo hopes that something will happen to tear them apart. Karina considers having a paternity test in order to find out if either Fernando or Augusto is her child’s father. Diana and Raul cross paths and she tries to find out about his history. Diana confides in Laticia that she gave up a child for adoption and that child might be Raul. Sor Rosa predicts that the Dulce clan will be shock up by a ghost from the past. Paloma asks Inés if she knows what Gregorio is doing, but Inés supports her husband’s bad practices.
DEC 13 – DEC 17 Pedro comes to check on Enrique and try to extract any information about his attempted murder. Augusto ushers Pedro away from Enrique, saying that his recovery cannot be compromised. Mateo tells Marisol that he has no future with her and he asks for a divorce. Ana María tells her father that she can finally start her life with Mateo without all the lies from Marisol and Luz. Karina’s doctor advises her to wait until after birth for a DNA test, but she demands one as soon as possible. Madre Tierra consults the Padre as to what to do about Sor Rosa and her visions. Paloma confronts her father, but he has no regrets about what he is doing. Alejandro tells his allies that it is only a matter of time before they gain control of the los Pop cartel. After seeing Paloma again, Luis Miguel decides to leave town for a while. Lena and Pedro are the participants in las Posadas. During las Posadas, Lena surprises all and goes into early labor.
DEC 20 – DEC 24 Staff at the hospital rush to help Lena deliver her child. Enrique’s guard steps away to see what is going on and in the meantime, someone suffocates Enrique with a pillow. Augusto discovers that Enrique has been killed and Pedro informs Marisol that their investigation has turned to murder. The Dulces all celebrate when they learn that Enrique is finally gone. Luis Miguel tells Isabel and Rodrigo that he will be leaving Veracruz after the holidays to take his mind off Paloma and his daughter in a coma. Karina arrives late at the family gathering, having just had a secret paternity test. Alejandro lets his friends know that with Enrique gone, there will be a huge shift in the los Pop cartel. Laticia and the Padre visit Lena in the hospital to let her know that Enrique has been killed. Raul and Blanca get to meet their new daughter. Diana watches as Raul connects with his new son. Leisle tells her father that Diana was at the hospital and he wonders why she has Diana has an interest in Raul.
DEC 27 – DEC 31 With the impending divorce on the way, Marisol devotes all her time to the murder case and also to her son, Tomás. Leisle lashes out at Pedro for not spending the holidays with his family. Pedro reminds Leisle that she and Bernardo are suspects in an official case. Jorge makes a tough adjustment to life with his true mother, Ana María. Luis Miguel says goodbye to his family and heads to México DF. Karina continues to lie to Fernando telling him that he isn’t the father of her child. Jordi tells Huecita that he suspects Augusto and Karina might have worked together to hurt Marta Elena. Blanca and Raul name their daughter Estrella and take her home from the hospital. Alejandro assumes leadership of the los Pop cartel and Santiago worries about what he is capable of. Esperanza demands that Santiago make the investigation into Enrique’s murder a top priority. Bernardo confronts Diana as to what connection she has with Raul. After Sor Rosa’s prediction came true, Madre Tierra wonders if she has an otherworldly gift.
