JAN 3 – JAN 7 Esperanza demands that Santiago make the investigation of Enrique’s murder a top priority. Pedro sympathizes with Esperanza and works hard to get to the bottom of the conspiracy to kill Enrique. Paloma questions Gregorio if he manipulated Juan into killing Enrique. Inés returns to her theater and decides to produce and direct another Shakespeare play. Mateo tells Ana María that as soon as his marriage with Marisol is annulled, they will get married. Marisol and Mateo agree to split custody of their son Tomás. At the hospital, Jordi discovers that Karina had an amniocentesis and he informs Huecita. Laticia worries that Lena might regret her decision to put her baby up for adoption. The Padre wonders if Bernardo went behind his back and had Enrique killed. Alejandro plans on taking the cartel in a new direction by focusing on the illegal antiquity trade. Karina gets her test results and immediately burns them
JAN 10 – JAN 14 Few people gather to pay their respect to Enrique at his funeral. Marisol tries to forget about her marriage annulment by devoting more time to the investigation. To the shock of both parties, Marisol and Pedro bond as they work so closely together. Inés tells Paloma that Gregorio did not have Juan kill Enrique, but if he did, she should be grateful. Huecita realizes that Karina had a paternity test to see if Augusto or Fernando is the father. Gregorio advises Ana María that keeping Jorge away from Marisol could have developmental consequences. Mateo and Ana María realize that Marisol must remain a part of their lives for years to come. Laticia tells Lena that she will help her get her baby back if Lena ever wants her daughter back. Marco continues to date Teresa despite the fact that she was part of the los Pop cartel. Paz tells Esperanza that she would like to explore a relationship with Marco.
JAN 17 – JAN 21 Esperanza learns that Enrique’s fortune will be divided between her and Juan. Leisle wonders why Pedro is so intent on finding out who killed Enrique. In her opinion, the murderer should be given a medal. Paloma agrees to keep Gregorio’s secret in order to protect both Gregorio and Isabel. Huecita tells Fernando that Karina has doubts as to the father of her child, even though Karina told him that there’s no chance he’s the father. Ana María learns that Luz is on the board of directors of the museum where she just found a job. Rodrigo thinks of his past with Marisol and the baby she lost because of Laticia. Bernardo tells Laticia to stay out of Lena’s personal life, but Laticia wants to prevent Lena from heartache. Unaware that Paz has feelings for Marco, Teresa asks her to keep her secret about the poison attempt of Santiago. Alejandro tells Raul that they must integrate or eliminate loyalists to Enrique.
JAN 24 – JAN 28 Knowing that Alejandro is now in charge, Esperanza wonders if she can cut a deal with her enemy. Marisol puts the link together that Enrique was poisoned by the same toxin used by the Calavera killer. Clara worries about Juan’s well-being, but Isabel says that she has faith in Gregorio’s methods. Pedro and Marisol decide that they need to act fast and arrest the main suspect. Jordi asks Augusto about the results of Karina’s test and Augusto is dumbfounded. Fernando confronts Karina and she finally admits that he could be the father of her child. Ana María tells Rodrigo that the two women that she hates most – Marisol and Luz – are still huge parts of her life. Rodrigo and Ana María agree to move on and concentrate on their futures. Lena confides in Leisle that there is some regret in giving up Estrella but she wants the rape and child out of her life. The Padre finds out that Bernardo had no involvement with Enrique’s death, but the Padre learns that Bernardo and Diana have a history together.
JAN 31 – FEB 4 Esperanza proposes that she use the money from Enrique to buy her way into the new cartel. Clara tells Paloma that over the past few months, Juan has been acting differently. Paloma is conflicted in telling her daughter the truth and betraying Gregorio. While on a date with Marco, Teresa is arrested for the murder of Enrique. Luz tries to talk with Ana María, but she meets with failure. Marisol and Pedro hope that Teresa will lead them to Enrique’s true killer. Augusto walks in on Fernando and Karina’s argument and Fernando promptly leaves. Augusto is upset about Karina keeping the amniocentesis a secret, but Karina covers her tracks and says that the test will prove that the baby is healthy. Alejandro asks Mateo where his loyalties lie and Mateo tells Alejandro what he wants to hear. Lena and Jordi cross paths and Lena offers to help her friend in order to take her mind of Estrella. The Padre confronts Diana and she explains their past together, including the fact that she got pregnant by Bernardo.
FEB 7 – FEB 11 Alejandro mulls over Esperanza’s proposal and decides that some extra capital will be good for the new direction of the cartel. Augusto and Karina decide to be more candid with each other and agree that their baby’s health is a priority. Huecita tells Jordi everything that she knows and they wonder if Karina will be her own worst enemy. Lena tries to befriend Fernando in order to help Jordi get closer to the truth. Alejandro promises that Mateo will have his police officer job back soon enough. Pedro interrogates Teresa and she confesses to trying to kill Enrique at his wedding reception, but she did not come near Enrique at the hospital. Marisol and Pedro discuss the possibility of lesser charges if Teresa leads them to the killer. The Padre tells Bernardo that he knows about his past with Diana. Bernardo confronts Diana and she admits that she never had an abortion – she had Bernardo’s baby and gave up the child for adoption. Clara tells Isabel that something untoward is going on with Juan and Paloma might be involved.
FEB 14 – FEB 18 Alejandro tells Esperanza that he can insure the safety of her and Paz, but he will need a larger bribe. Teresa tells Marisol that before she can say anything else, she needs a lawyer. Leisle and Pedro have a big argument when he spends Valentine’s Day at the police station instead of with her. Rodrigo confesses to the Padre that he tried to kill Enrique at his wedding reception. Luis Miguel returns to Veracruz and gathers his family and friends to make two big announcements. Thinking about what Clara said, Isabel decides to confront Paloma. Juan tells Gregorio that he is gradually remembering events that he blocked out. Jordi asks Augusto how Karina and the baby are doing, but he is mostly curious about the paternity test. Huecita talks to Fernando and he tells her that Augusto is the father of Karina’s baby. In shock over Diana’s revelation, Bernardo asks why she is telling him the truth now.
FEB 21 – FEB 25 Mateo professes that family is more important than the los Pop cartel and Esperanza agrees. Esperanza tells Paz to go for what she wants – Marco. Teresa agrees to talk if she gets immunity for the two crimes she committed. Marisol wonders what other crime Teresa could have perpetrated. Despite all the problems in the past few years, Ana María fells that she is finally regaining control of her life. Luis Miguel tells his family that he has injected some capital into the bankrupt Mexicana airlines. Rodrigo questions Luis Miguel’s motives, but Luis Miguel stands behind his decision. Paloma tells Isabel that only Gregorio has the answers that she is looking for regarding Juan. Lena distracts doctors while Jordi gets his hands on Karina’s tests. Huecita makes the subtle suggestion to Isabel and Rodrigo that Karina cannot be trusted with the Dulce assets. Diana tells Bernardo that she suspects that Raul is their son together. Bernardo storms off in disbelief and thinks that Diana has made this whole story up.
FEB 28 – MAR 4 Alejandro give Mateo good news that he is being reinstated, but he will need a favor sometime in the future. Pedro has Teresa sign the needed paperwork and she confesses to the attempted murders of Enrique and Santiago. Ana María tells Marco that Teresa’s arrest should be an indication that she is a dangerous person. Thinking that Teresa will be locked up for a while, Paz tells Marco that Teresa tried to kill him. Karina, Rodrigo, and Isabel wonder why Luis Miguel made a hasty decision, but agree to see how things turn out. Isabel abruptly leaves when she realizes that Juan is in a therapy session with Gregorio. Jordi, Huecita, and Lena read the results only to find out that Fernando is really the father of Karina’s baby. Bernardo asks for the Padre’s advice after he reveals Diana’s theory about Raul. The Padre tells Bernardo that a DNA test will reveal the truth. Sor Rosa sees that the Dulce clan will soon be torn apart.
MAR 7 – MAR 11 Ana María and Mateo decide that their lives will be complete when they marry. Teresa tells Marisol and Pedro how Enrique manipulated her into poisoning Santiago, but she accidentally did it to Marco. Marco doesn’t believe Paz’s claim, but she goes on to explain that Santiago was the intended victim. Luis Miguel stuns his family when he introduces them to his 25 year old fiancé – Maite Sandoval. Clara is shocked by Luis Miguel sees that Paloma is visibly shaken. Ana María continues to work at the museum, but avoids Luz at all costs. Isabel walks in on a therapy session between Juan and Gregorio. Gregorio asks Isabel to leave, but Juan asks his mother to stay. Huecita questions Jordi if Lena can be trusted and Jordi assures his accomplice that she can be. Diana and Bernardo agree to a paternity test, but they decide to keep their suspicions quiet until they get the results. Laticia overhears Bernardo and Diana and wonders what they are concerned about so much that a DNA test is needed.
MAR 14 – MAR 18 Teresa finally reveals that she saw Rodrigo stab Enrique in the back. Mateo finds out that the police are close to discovering Enrique’s killer. Marco lets his parents know the truth that Teresa was behind his near-death poisoning and Santiago immediately goes to the police station. The Dulces wonder what Luis Miguel is up to, but he tells them that he and Maite are in love. Rodrigo sees his brother moving on and decides that he must do the same. Paloma and Huecita make a pact that they will not become jealous of Luis Miguel and Maite. Juan confesses to both Gregorio and Isabel that he killed Enrique. Isabel is paralyzed for a moment, but realizes that she must protect her son. Jordi prays by Marta Elena’s bedside and decides when he and Huecita should reveal the truth. Laticia asks the Padre what is going on between Diana and Bernardo, but she doesn’t get any answers. At a lunch meeting, Bernardo covertly gets a sample from Raul and Diana provides a sample at the hospital as well.
MAR 21 – MAR 25 Mateo tells his sister the news that she might finally get closure. Esperanza promises to move on once justice has been served. Santiago demands to know when Teresa will be charged, but he learns that an immunity deal has already been cut. Marisol and Pedro put the pieces together and realize that Rodrigo had a strong vendetta against Enrique due to his ruined marriage. Gregorio promises Isabel that everything that has transpired during the therapy session will remain confidential. Jordi thanks Lena for her help and she asks if she can confide something in him. Luz secretly appoints Ana María to a post of special curator for a new exhibit from ancient Peru. Paloma tells Alejandro about Luis Miguel and his new fiancé Maite. Alejandro wonders if this Maite is the same one that he knew as a coyote. Feeling left out of the loop, Laticia decides to make trouble by telling Leisle that Bernardo is running the DNA test on Lena to prove she is an imposter. Madre Tierra asks Sor Rosa what else she sees for the Dulces.
MAR 28 – APR 1 Alejandro is pleased to find out that the remaining Enrique loyalists have been dealt with. Pedro informs Teresa that she will soon be released, but he doesn’t let her know that Santiago has stopped by and knows the truth. Marisol gathers the evidence that they need to arrest Rodrigo. Clara asks Juan why he has been so distant and he confesses that he killed his father. As Pedro is about to make an arrest, Isabel comes into the police station and confesses to killing Enrique. Rodrigo regrets not having another child since Ana María has no interest in Dulce Enterprises. Lena confesses that she regrets giving up her daughter to Blanca. Alejandro goes to the Dulce hacienda intent on learning the truth about Maite. Leisle confronts Bernardo, upset that he is making life tough for Lena yet again. Bernardo tells Leisle that she doesn’t know what is going on and shouldn’t jump to conclusions. After her prediction about her family being ripped in half, Madre Tierra warns Sor Rosa to stay away from the occult.
