JULY 4 – JULY 8 Diana produces the DNA results and Raul takes in the revelation, but he wants to know why someone else raised him. Ana María learns of Paz’s severe injuries and realizes how lucky she is. Marisol informs Teresa that she may be tried for murder if Paz should die. Luz visits her daughter in the hospital and explains that Rodrigo’s trial has concluded abruptly because he has been declared insane and not fit for trial. Marisol convinces Blanca that Lena is a threat to Estrella and she helps Blanca get an expedited restraining order. Laticia reminds Lena that she will do whatever it takes to ensure Lena’s happiness. Fernando represents Isabel after her trial begins. Santiago tells his son that he wants to step down from being mayor, but Marco tells his father that he believes in him. Huecita crosses paths with Maite who tells Huecita that she isn’t trying to take her place with Luis Miguel. Huecita tells Maite that she bears no grudges and Huecita claims to be in a relationship with a younger man.
JULY 11 – JULY 15 Diana paints Bernardo in a bad light saying that she got pregnant and he wanted her to have an abortion. Bernardo lashes back and explains that Diana was trying to ruin his political career but she found other ways to do so. Luz tells Ana María that she cares about her, but Ana María asks her to leave. Mateo confesses his love to Ana María and that they have been through so much and finally deserve happiness. Marco confronts Teresa and wants to know why Teresa attacked two of the people that he loves. Laticia plans to help Lena kidnap Lena’s biological child from Blanca and Raul. Luis Miguel asks Isabel if she confessed in order to protect someone and he realizes that she is protecting Juan. Santiago contacts Olaf for advice, but Olaf suggests that Bernardo has more political experience. Jordi gets a sign from beyond that Marta Elena is going to make a recovery. Paz’s condition stabilizes after many operations.
JULY 18 – JULY 22 After hearing their stories, Leisle is utterly disgusted by her father and Diana. Raul tells them that he was better off not hearing the truth and he can continue to live without them. Ana María tells Mateo that with a family history of mental illness, maybe they shouldn’t get married, but Mateo rebuffs that notion. Teresa tells Marco that Ana María has always been her greatest enemy and Paz got in the way, an unfortunate victim. Lena makes an unannounced visit to Blanca and Laticia sneaks in while the two women are arguing. Luis Miguel suggests that taking Juan out of the country may be best. Isabel tells Fernando that the trial is taking too long and they need to strike a deal with the prosecution. Jordi calls Olaf and explains that Isabel is on trial. He also questions his father about Adoración’s claim, but Olaf hasn’t found any proof. Huecita sets a plan in motion to seduce Jordi, but she doesn’t consider the consequences. Alejandro finds out that Paloma is withholding evidence from the police.
JUL 25 – JULY 29 Raul leaves while Bernardo and Diana argue about the past, coming to blows. Santiago decides to ask Bernardo for political advice, but he learns of Bernardo’s family crisis. Teresa learns that she will stand trial for two attempted murders and she must rely on a public defendant. Ana María returns to the museum and learns that the special exhibit can now be opened after the crime scene has been cleared up. Marisol stays out of Ana María’s way. Blanca listens to Lena’s arguments and surprisingly agrees to drop the protective order. The prosecution presents a deal which Isabel quickly agrees to, but Fernando does not approve. Juan is shocked to learn that his mother will spend thirty years in prison, but Isabel tells him to live a full life. Jordi discovers that Olaf cannot come back to Mexico due to his involvement with the los Pop cartel. Jordi has several drinks at a bar with Huecita and she slips a drug into one of his drinks. Karina sees Jordi and Huecita leave the bar together and she secretly follows them.
AUG 1 – AUG 5 On his way home, Raul accidentally crashes into a police vehicle transporting one of the prisoners to jail. Leisle tries to call Lena with the new family secret, but she doesn’t get a response. Pedro discovers Bernardo and Diana in a physical altercation and arrests them both. Mateo informs Esperanza that the attacks in the museum provided a unique opportunity for their goal. Lena realizes that she made a horrible mistake in trusting Laticia and she abruptly leaves Blanca’s home. Clara comforts Juan and tells him that Isabel has given him a great gift. Esperanza catches wind of Isabel’s false confession and she plans on exposing the truth. The Padre offers Santiago some advice regarding the government of Veracruz. Jordi and Huecita have sex, though Jordi believes that Huecita is Marta Elena. Karina listens and finds a way to blackmail her enemies. Paloma feels pressure to tell Alejandro the truth about Enrique’s murder.
AUG 8 – AUG 12 The police vehicle transporting Teresa stops at the scene of the accident and the police discover that Isabel is missing. Ana María finally opens the special Peruvian exhibit with Luz, but Flaco stops them, saying that a fraud has been committed. Esperanza learns that the real artifacts have been replaced by replicas. Blanca goes to check on Estrella and discovers that she is missing. Laticia and Lena meet up, but Lena says that she cannot follow through. Clara still believes that Juan was brainwashed by someone and she asks him to remember the night of Enrique’s murder. Santiago agrees to the Padre’s plan of secretly creating in-fighting between the two branches of the los Pop cartel. Karina leaves a note under the door saying that Jordi and Huecita’s secret is safe if her secret is also safe. Paloma betrays her family’s trust and tells her husband that Inés killed Enrique, not Isabel. Maite makes a secret call about the Dulce’s.
AUG 15 – AUG 19 Maite comes upon the accident scene and stops to see if she can help, but police usher her away. Two ambulances bring Raul and the other injured to the hospital; however, Isabel is still missing. Ana María and Luz look at each other, completely dumbfounded by Flaco’s claim. Esperanza asks Mateo how the artifacts could have been switched when she put their plan on hold. Blanca calls Raul about Estrella, but a police officer answers Raul’s phone and explains about the accident. Laticia pressures Lena to leave the country and start a life with Estrella in Germany. Alejandro asks Marisol if she believes that Isabel really killed Enrique. Clara suspects that Paloma knows something that could clear Isabel and she decides to do some snooping. Jordi wakes up in the morning and is horrified to find Huecita in bed with him. Huecita explains what happened the night before, including the fact they had sex, but Jordi is still foggy. Teresa comes out from the wreckage with only minor injuries, but she still goes to the hospital. Santiago tries to sort out who is loyal to Alejandro and who is still loyal to Enrique.
AUG 22 – AUG 26 Maite calls Luis Miguel and lets him know that there was a bad accident, but she doesn’t know any details other than it involved several police vehicles. Lena hastily gets her things together and Leisle asks what she is doing and where has she been. Pedro learns of the accident and he calls Leisle to let her know that her brother was hurt and now in the hospital. Marisol hears about the horrible accident and rushes to the hospital to be with her friend, Blanca. Luz tries to keep the press under control while Ana María asks if Flaco might be mistaken. Mateo explains to Esperanza that he switched many of the artifacts during the investigation of the stabbings. Paloma catches Alejandro talking to Marisol and she worries that he has revealed that Inés is the murderer. Jordi and Huecita agree to keep their one night stand a secret, but they discover Karina’s note. Teresa has a vision of her father, Federico, telling her not to make the same mistakes he did. Santiago approaches Bernardo about eliminating the los Pop cartel.
AUG 29 – SEP 2 Police worry that Isabel is on the loose and she may be armed and dangerous. Maite arrives at the Dulce hacienda and screams when she sees Isabel in the back seat. Flaco show Ana María and the press the cheaply made replicas with paint flaking off. Esperanza asks Mateo when they are going to present the Peruvian artifacts to Alejandro, but Mateo has a different idea. Blanca breaks down when she sees Raul and she asks Marisol to find Estrella. Leisle quickly leaves to go to the hospital while Lena sneaks out to meet with Laticia. Cristina asks Clara why she wants to help Juan and his mother so much. Paloma confronts Alejandro and she tells him to stop talking about Enrique’s murder since Isabel has already confessed. Huecita realizes that she cannot reveal the truth about Karina without Karina revealing the one night stand with Jordi. Teresa visits Paz and tells her that she is sorry and Paz should be with Marco.
SEP 5 – SEP 9 Luis Miguel runs out to see what is going on and he sees Isabel comforting Maite. Ana María feels personally responsible for the two crimes at the museum and Flaco presents Luz with a theory that the stabbings and theft are related. Mateo tells his sister that he plans to frame Alejandro for the theft, but Esperanza isn’t sure. Laticia informs Lena that a fatal accident has the police occupied, making Lena’s escape easier. Marisol lets Pedro know that Estrella has been kidnapped and Leisle overhears. Clara visits Juan and she wants to know if he considers himself in a relationship with her. Alejandro reminds Paloma that she shouldn’t be threatening him since he has the power to put Inés behind bars. Jordi beats himself up over sleeping with Marta Elena’s mother, still unaware that Huecita drugged him. Paz tells Teresa that she cannot forgive her yet, but she appreciates the gesture. Teresa’s trial begins and she realizes that she must face her victims. Santiago demands that the police produce results right away.
SEP 12 – SEP 16 Isabel explains that during all the commotion, she snuck into a car that she knew to be her brother’s. Maite finally regains composure and she agrees to keep Isabel’s secret. Flaco proposes that the two stabbings were merely distractions from the true crime of stealing the Peruvian artifacts. Luz asks Ana María if Mateo may have been involved and she gets extremely upset. Leisle thinks about Lena’s erratic behavior earlier and she tells Marisol what she saw, hoping to protect Estrella. Lena says goodbye to Laticia and takes Nacho’s jet out of Veracruz. Clara is overjoyed when Juan admits that they are a couple together. Paloma considers paying a visit to Isabel, but she learns that the police have lost Isabel after the accident. Huecita and Jordi both agree to keep Karina’s secret, but they let Karina know that Lena knows the truth too. Teresa explains to her lawyer that she was manipulated by someone unknown who wanted to pull off a heist. Santiago puts the pressure on Pedro to make some arrests soon.
SEP 19 – SEP 23 Luis Miguel tells Isabel that she can remain hidden in Huecita’s chamber in the basement. Isabel asks Luis Miguel if Maite can be trusted and he tells her that he’ll find a way. Mateo tells Esperanza that he secretly manipulated Teresa, but he didn’t realize how far she would go for revenge. Esperanza becomes infuriated when she learns that Mateo indirectly caused Paz’s and Ana María’s near-fatal stabbings. Pedro rushes to the airport hoping to stop Lena from leaving while Marisol considers the possibility that Laticia was involved in yet another kidnapping. Leisle wonders if Lena will forgive her for suggesting that Lena took Estrella. Paloma decides to do whatever it takes to prevent the truth from coming out about Inés. Cristina begins to warm up to Alejandro and calls him “papá”. Jordi tries to track down Lena and he runs into Pedro and Marisol who are also looking for her. Teresa’s lawyer thinks about a new defense strategy, but he wonders who manipulated Teresa. Inés shows no remorse.
SEP 26 – SEP 30 Luis Miguel asks Maite if she will be loyal and remain quiet about Isabel. Maite suggests that they review the prenuptial agreement. Isabel thinks about Juan and wonders how long he will cope with her disappearance. Clara and Juan go for a date, but Juan is preoccupied thinking about his mother. Luz and Flaco present Flaco’s theory to the police. Mateo asks for Esperanza’s forgiveness, explaining that he is really trying to take down their enemy. Pedro discovers that the Nacho’s jet departed with a planned destination in Germany. Laticia tells Marisol that she is too late to stop Lena and Marisol responds by arresting Laticia. Since she cannot talk to Isabel, Paloma considers talking to her former rival, Huecita. Huecita visits Marta Elena and asks for forgiveness while Madre Tierra listens in. Marco and Paz both take the stand to testify against Teresa. Karina and Augusto spend time with Felipe.
